NEWS 3/18/07 Olympia Gaming Refines Plans of Southern Highlands Resort

The initial development will use 70 acres of the 100-acre site. The $1-billion project will include:  1,400 rooms, a 120,000-sq. ft. casino, meeting space, seven or eight restaurants and other entertainment attractions. About 20 acres of the overall site will feature mixed-use retail.

The project will be one of the first major hotel-casinos travelers from California will see when entering the Las Vegas Valley along Interstate 15.
