Clarion


The existing hotel opened in 1970 as has gone through more name changes than any other hotel in Las Vegas:

1970 - 1980  The Royal Inn
1980 - 1982  Royal Inn America
1983 - 1993  Paddlewheel Inn
1993 - 1998  Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Hotel
1998 (it was purchased by the World Wrestling Federation who had plans to build a WWF hotel)
1999 - 2001 Convention Center Drive Hotel and Casino. 
2001 - 2009 Greek Isles Hotel and Casino
2009 - Today  Clairon

The existing Clairon has 207 rooms, a 7,000-square foot casino and only one restaurant.

The project will be in the center of the hotbed of new development
