Blue Heron developments

VegasTodayAndTomorrow generally highlights projects which are either on the Las Vegas strip or are major projects in the 'burbs and surrounding areas.  We do not open our doors to single family home builders.  However, once in a while a project comes along that is noteworthy.  In this case, Blue Heron has impressed us with their design sense and, more importantly, their Eco-friendly approach.

Due to the over-supply and surprising lack of diversity in the high rise condominium market, one Las Vegas based developer (Blue Heron) has created an innovative new modern residence called the “loft home.”  The unique concept combines the cosmopolitan-style of a loft with the comforts and sensibilities of a traditional single family home.  This fresh approach has created a new category in residential design and the award-winning floor plans have become an instant success.

Focus on Green     Blue Heron is focused on being environmentally sensitive as well as ecologically smart.  That commitment affects a multitude of decisions ranging from site selection, to energy efficiency, passive solar design, building materials and color selections as well as an intelligent, long-term perspective on regional and community development.

Blue Heron SOLD OUT their first community before they could complete a model home.  Today the young company is quickly selling 4 new communities in some of the most exclusive neighborhoods Las Vegas has to offer.  When asked why these communities have been so successful in a market saturated with high rise inventory, Blue Heron owner Tommy Isola replied, “It’s really quite simple.  Our homes offer all of the elegant style and sophistication of our competitors, but with the added comforts of a traditional home.  To top it all off, our homes are less than half the cost, with floor plans starting at around $700,000 for 3,450 square feet.  These homes simply provide the best of both worlds and are an incredible value.”

The big "green" house

Agave Sunset is Blue Heron's smallest neighborhood with the largest homes
(up to 8,700 square feet) These promise to be the most technically advanced and eco- friendly homes in the Las Vegas valley.
